Background:
Housed Local, a well-funded startup brand in the Home Management Services and Real Estate industry, launched its beta product, Housed mobile app, in Q3 of 2023. The Home Management Servicing industry involves multiple users, complex workflow and archaic processes. Housed Local is well positioned to innovate and automate inefficient processes by creating seamless digital experiences.
Due to less than ideal traction and reception for the initial version of their mobile app, the client approached Neutrino Advisory to create a multi-pronged approach for their primary goal of customer acquisition.
Challenges:
Housed Local faced challenges with their initial version of the mobile app that is primarily meant for single-family home users. The main objective is to allow users to easily capture the details of their household appliances and help them manage the routine tasks and maintenance of all the equipment regularly. The basic version of the App lacked easier navigation, engaging user interface and critical features resulting in poor user engagement and retention.
Solution:
Neutrino created a holistic Customer acquisition strategy to solve the challenges faced by the Housed Local team. The strategy involved elevating the app’s overall user experience (UX), introducing new and usable product features, improving the company’s website and launching lead generation and conversion campaigns focusing on increasing product awareness, usage and stickiness to create meaningful, long-term customer relationships.
Neutrino’s strategic approach helped to rebuild and revamp Housed Local’s mobile application. Our main focus was to enhance the app’s user experience by improving the navigation and usability and adding new functionalities. Our design and product development teams collaborated with the client to craft a unique experience for App users and released upgraded versions for Android and iOS user base.
Neutrino’s digital marketing team also worked hand-in-hand with the client to design awareness and conversion campaigns for the mobile app. Our SEM and Social team focused on creating Google and Meta Ad campaigns to increase app downloads and app registrations for new users.
Technology:
Neutrino used cross-device Flutter technology for the Android and iPhone App development; thereby streamlining the development with a single codebase. We leveraged Google Firebase for scalable backend and for real time synchronization. The team relied on Google Analytics (GA) to analyze the user behavior as well as marketing performance data to understand the effectiveness of media spend and inform future product roadmap.
